My professional focus is in helping individuals who struggle with behavioral change. I am a software engineer as well as a psychologist, and enjoy working with individuals who work in high-intensity professional settings. I focus on helping my clients find the path to meaningful, long-term change.

To make lasting change for the better in someone else’s experience is an aspiration of mine, one that I commit myself to willingly. My career as a clinical psychologist has been dedicated to helping people find what is meaningful to them and make the difficult, painful choice to move in that direction while the suffering of human nature compels us to turn away. As Ralph Waldo Emerson put it, “it is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.”

Specialties: Individual and group therapy for adults and adolescents. My primary theoretical approach is Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP). I also find utility in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills and Motivational Interviewing (MI) approaches.
