Dr. Kiley Gottschalk

As a clinical psychologist, I provide brief and long-term psychotherapy to individuals who are struggling with major life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss. I work with people of all ages, and have particular expertise working with college students from a variety of backgrounds.

I view my work as devoted to helping people develop a better sense of their own unique wants and needs. This process helps my patients develop their ability to draw more meaning out of life, and, in doing so, they feel better equipped to enact valuable, sustainable changes in relationships, careers, etc. .

I understand that starting therapy can be challenging. I prioritize developing strong relationships with my patients, grounded in trust and respect. I find that therapy works best when approached collaboratively and flexibly. I often take an integrative approach to treatment, though my thinking is grounded by a psychodynamic framework.
