Paul Sullivan

I help families, couples and individuals develop healthy and thriving relationships with others and themselves. Whether executive, professional or college student, I meet the client where they are at by using varying approaches including psychodynamic, interrelational, family systems and attachment theory as well as CBT, DBT and mindfulness. With couples and families I use family systems and communication skill development. Communication, connection and self-care are critical in a culture that rewards work over play and where love seems to be vastly more complex than we may of thought as children. We must learn how to play, rest and love.

I see families and couples as part of a system that always functions in relation to all others in the system. Each member is part of the whole and healthy change arises from caring for the whole.
