Are you worried about your child? Are you frustrated with people in your life - a child, partner, co-worker or family member? If you are worrying a lot, feeling sad, or feeling out of control, I understand that you want to feel better now.  We work at a pace that is comfortable for you and draw from your strengths. You have inner wisdom and the ability to make choices that will bring you solutions rather than stress. People meet with me to find relief from anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, school challenges, substance use, relationship conflict, adjustment and postpartum issues. I am comfortable addressing a wide variety of complex concerns. Through flexible and supportive evidence-based practice, people reach behavioral health solutions when working with me.

As a child/adolescent specialist, I engage youth with humor and play therapy. My particular expertise involves reducing unwanted behaviors and solving school related problems.  I have extensive professional experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in public school, alternative school and residential settings. Typical issues included complex trauma, explosive behavior, school anxiety, self-injury, suicidal thoughts, and aggression. I prioritize safety and harm reduction.

My comfortable calming office space is conveniently located just outside Arlington center with free parking and easy access to public transportation. I have a few evening appointments available for your convenience.
