Rob Ridlon

I help adolescents and young adults resolve the psychological problems that keep them from fully experiencing their lives. I work with people to help them navigate the difficulties of adolescence and young adulthood and employ an eclectic approach to treatment. Some methods include: supportive therapy, behavioral activation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family interventions. I help with anxiety, mood problems, thought disorders, substance use disorder, relational/family and school problems.
I am an independent licensed social worker and work full-time at the Brigham and Women's Hospital outpatient psychiatry department. In addition, I hold a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy certification from Boston University's School of Social Work.
I see each client as their own unique individual with their own sets of strengths. My skills as a therapist include the ability to form a therapeutic relationship and support clients as they navigate life's everyday challenges.
