Illness, age, and disability can leave you feeling isolated and trapped. Managing the small tasks of daily living can be a hardship; some days impossible. Coping with the demands of aging parents, children with specialized needs, school issues, learning disabilities, chronic disease, or environmental illnesses can be overwhelming. You are not alone.
I am an LMHC and Creative Arts Therapist with 20+ years experience working with people of all ages, from very young children through elders. I offer an integrative and holistic approach to counseling tailored to your individual needs. The creative arts are significant and integral parts of healing and health, and Creative Arts Therapy allows us to examine ourselves, our lives, and our direction using all of our senses. My focus is on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each person and their lives as a whole. No two lives are alike - I work hard with you to design an approach to therapy that meets your unique needs and goals.
Many people, especially those living with chronic illness, can have difficulty accessing and receiving support services: in-person counseling may not be possible. In my private practice, I offer therapy sessions online via virtual conferencing and by telephone as reasonable accommodations to support people for whom face-to-face sessions are not always an option. In certain situations, I can also come to you!
