Work stress never just stays at the workplace. It follows you everywhere. To your house, to your friend’s birthday party, to your date. This makes sense, because our job provides us with many things, including our livelihood, a place to exercise our interests and passions, and even forms part of our identity.  So when things at work become tough, its no wonder that many areas of our life are negatively impacted.

I understand that stress at work is a serious and challenging hurdle to overcome, and helping clients with this particular struggle is one of the areas in which I specialize. I create a warm, empathic, and open environment with my clients where they can feel safe while talking about these work-related challenges. While I am trained in a variety of therapy techniques, I frequently focus on using cognitive behavioral therapy to help my clients develop new skills and approaches for effectively dealing with work stress. I am interested in helping my clients not only with practical solutions, but also with a deeper understanding how their life experiences impact their current day to day lives in ways they might not realize.

I work at Azimuth Psychological, a unique place where we see clients as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. Our clients work to gain perspectives and insights that help get them unstuck so they can reach their goals, whatever that may be. We make your process as easy as possible, whether that’s scheduling your appointment (have us call you!), completing your paperwork (all online), paying for your sessions (credit cards), locating ourselves next to a variety of public transportation options (T and Bus), and giving us feedback (anonymous electronic forms). Please do not hesitate to reach out — I am happy to answer an questions you may have.
